Leighann Ness Wilson

Design • Education • Research

I work at the intersection of design, education and research, exploring what it means to take design seriously in education.

I began my career as a professional designer before retraining as a teacher and working across schools, public programs and initial teacher education. My practice now extends into research, and I am currently completing a PhD investigating how pre-service teachers develop the skills, confidence and motivation to apply design in meaningful, future-focused learning.

CreateEd brings together my research, teaching and design practice, supporting thoughtful, collaborative work that reimagines learning and the ways people engage with design in education
